Holes marked with our favorite super sedan Munich, BMW M5, CTS-V against Motowns entirely new. First up, head to the track to see what the test car made the best numbers in the soil.

yes the caddy is cheaper and has more hp but it took GM 5 years to make a rival to a car that hasn’t changed since 2004…and even worse motortrend chose a fully speced out m5 WITH A MANUAL!!!! m5 v10 is meant to be run with the 7 speed smg. only the americans get the six speed AS AN OPTION!!
redo the test with a fully speced out caddy and M5 with the M and its 7 speed and then we will see that the outcome of this biased test will be in favor of Munich

Are you forgetting that both this BMW and Caddy are faster around a track than their Merc competitors? Did you not know that ever BMW M model is faster than it’s Merc counterpart around every single test track they are pitted against? The M3 outlaps the C63, the M5 outlaps the E63 and CLS63, the M6 outlaps the CL63 and CL65, even the OLD 2003 360 HP M3 CSL completely DESTROYED the 500 HP CLK63 AMG Black Series and the 582 HP CLK DTM AMG. Merc is GARBAGE!

Before shitting on this amazing American car, my illiterate friend, I believe it’s your duty as a human being (or whatever you are) to first learn some basic ENGLISH. Only if you knew how retarded you sound…

But trash-talking retards aside-I believe the CTS-v really did a number on M5 this time, caddy’s engine might not last as long as bmw’s v10, but as long as it does beemer will get a new ******* ripped to it every single time, whether it’s 0-60 or slalom.

yea i would assume that the gear box company has been doing in for some time, but i still find it odd. today its almost assured that R is top left or bottom right, but I guess it doesn’t really matter.

I’ll stick to my 6 speed getrag, I love it

Do keep in mind the 5 series is a 2004 model. GM had years to get the CTS right…lets hope they focus on the rest of thier 500 brands that sell the same thing.
